Following the March 2015 successful implementation of the Transformed Me activities for form 4 leavers at the Nairobi’s Langata Botanical Garden and at the Lolgorian Parish of the Catholic Diocese of Ngong, located in Narok County, the Transformed Me team returns to Nairobi in April for a yet another life giving encounter with the youth.

The Transformed Me’s Lead Consultant and Counselor Catherine Kisasa says the April event is scheduled to take place at the Langata Botanical Garden grounds on 15th and 16th April 2015.
The two day event will bring together pupils from classes 6 to 8 as well as students from Secondary Schools & colleges for an enriching & fun filled experiential learning encounter with professional trainers & counselors.

“We need to equip our teenagers with relevant life skills and help them to overcome challenges such as exam failure, the pressures that come with study life; We must also invest quality time in helping our children to start identifying their career paths early enough.” Catherine Kisasa
Kisasa told the Wetness Star that the Transformed Me program firmly believes that children who acquire relevant life skills, coping skills and with an early exposure on careers have high chances of building their future on an excellent foundation to good performance and holistic development in life.
She says that parents interested in booking a place for their children will only have to part with 5000 shillings (USD 54), clarifying that the amount will go towards meeting facilitation costs and meals for the participants during the two days.
Participants are encouraged to carry swimming costumes as the event will feature swimming as one of the highlight experiential learning activities.
