A news and information website has
been launched to facilitate easier &quick access to the latest
information on the development agenda.
The launch of the website as
announced by the Senior Communications Officer, International
Development Policy at the United Nations Foundation, Kathryn Graczyk
comes just months away from the summits in September and December.

Kathryn says the website
www.globaldaily.com
is a news aggregator site that will curate and feature sourced
original content from around the web to accommodate the growing
amount of news and resources on emerging development issues which are
informing the global conversation around international development.
The Global Daily as a daily
resource website will also feature opinion pieces, videos, photos,
resources/links, and ways to connect via social media.
The site will consider for
publication blogs, Videos, and news stories on the important
action/2015 mobilizations and activitions taking place across the
globe.

Meanwhile the May month of
mobilization is already rolling with a basketful of activities as
governments negotiate and make their final preparations for the
post-2015 summit in September and the COP21 climate negotiations in
December.
Action/2015 coalition members will
take advantage of the month-long mobilization to illustrate to
governments the movement’s strength and their demand to governments
to deliver on ambitious policies for the benefit of people and
planet.
The
May Mobilisation Month also offers opportunities to work in
partnership across the globe on a series of themed
May Days of Action and individuals
or organizations can participate by joining a Global Day of Action,
hold an event or do an online activism.
